Family

The theme of "Family", as fostered by head coach Bill Snyder, is represented by this simple piece of lumber, which is carried out onto the field by the team during the pre-game run-on.  The theme refers not to just the close relationship among the players, but to the relationship between all of the students at the university and their own families, the school's faculty, and alumni.
